I am a Madison native and a graduate of Memorial High School where I played basketball for four years. Suanne, my lovely wife, was born on the west coast and grew up on the east coast. We met when her family moved to Madison in the fall of her senior year in high school. We’ve been married since 1983. For nearly 25 years we lived in LaCrosse, WI, in New Jersey and Indiana. We returned to Madison in 2007. Our two sons are grown and married and we have 2 grandkids.
Throughout my career I have been involved in youth ministry. When I see students, I see a mission field. That passion has been the focus of my professional life. Suanne has been involved in the banking industry, is a nationally certified corporate trainer and she is a professional jewelry designer and craftsman.
FCA has afforded an opportunity to combine two great passions, the Gospel of Christ and competitive athletics. As a kid growing up in Madison the Badgers held a special place in my heart. I loved all of the teams – football basketball, wrestling, fencing, hockey, cross-country, baseball, track and field, rowing. If the athletes were wearing the “Block W” I was a fan. As an Area Representative I have the privilege to serve coaches and athletes throughout southwest Wisconsin, including those on the UW campus!
