Campus Spotlight:

Onalaska High School

Mascot: Hilltoppers

Meetings: FCA Onalaska meets every Wed morning at 6:50 am. We get about 15 to 20 students each week with three great student leaders.

An activity we took part in this school year: The students in Onalaska FCA participated in Operation Christmas Child in November. Operation Christmas Child is an organization that delivers shoe boxes to children around the world in need of a Christmas gift. The Onalaska students brought items to donate for children for two weeks. On November 16, the students packed the toys, clothing and treats in 7 shoe boxes along with a personalized note and photo from FCA. The students will be able to track the shoe boxes on line to see where they are distributed.

The Minnesota Timberwolves FCA Game Day was a success!

On Sunday March 25th about 200 FCA athletes and coaches from Wisconsin and Minnesota Huddles watched the Timberwolves beat the Denver Nuggets. Anthony Tolliver shared his testimony after the game for FCA attendees. Then, many attended the Go Fish concert immediately after.

Eau Claire Middle School Bowling Event

Middle Schools: Northstar, DeLong & South

Annual Bowling Event: Every year the week before Spring Break we combine the three Eau Claire Middle School Huddles for an afternoon of bowling and getting to know other cool kids from the area.

How it works: We reserve Bowlwinkles Bowling Alley for about 50 kids and arrange parent or teacher drivers to get the FCA Huddles to the bowling alley. At each lane, students pair up with a friend from their school, and two kids from a different school. The top 5 bowlers (after two games) received prizes like big Powerades and FCA books or Bibles.

River Falls High School

Mascot: Wildcats

Meetings: Monday night meals provided by parents at 6:15pm at a RF Family's house. We have up to 50 students and are in our 3rd year of existence. A teacher or student leader will share a message. Recently we have been going through a five week "Purpose Driven Life" series.

Favorite Activities: Ski ball, basketball, Golden Tee... the house we meet in has it all for before and after meetings!

Awesome FCA Fact: Though our meeting attendance fluctuates, we ALWAYS have more than 20 students, and sometimes into the 50's!

An activity we took part in this school year: Our goal is one service project a month, a few we have done this year are: Delivering meals for Thanksgiving, sponsoring a local family for Christmas, a Hoops for Hannah benefit for a student who has a serious illness, and helping paint a Habitat for Humanity house.

Menomonie High School

Mascot: Mustangs (formerly the Indians)

Meetings: We meet every Friday morning at 6:49am for worship, snacks, fun, a message and discussion. We have a few seniors who meet with our adviser Coach Lichty to plan and they help carry out the weekly lessons as we grow to live more like Jesus.

Awesome FCA Fact: We load up the bus EVERY YEAR to take 40-60 kids to the Decorah, IA Sports Camp.

An activity we took part in this school year:
"Trick or Treat for Stepping Stone"
Our FCA Member collected over 300 pounds of food for the Stepping Stones Food Pantry on Halloween and then had pizza. It was our 2nd time doing this and the kids had a great time while serving a worthy cause.
